these are the steps:

step 1:Find a spot in your house to dig a set of stairs leading to your basement

step 2:Now make an area so that you have a lot of room to walk around because later on, I will be creating some storage rooms

step 3:Create a set of stairs

step 4:Create a hallway so that it can be later branched off into separate rooms

step 5:Go ahead and customize your first room by adding in windows, chests etc.

step 6:Create a crafting bench so that you do not have to walk back upstairs to craft stuff.

Also, place some signs so that your rooms will be organized and it can be quickly identified
